Rix & Kay’s Corporate Team have been shortlisted for two high-profile awards at Insider’s South East Dealmaker Awards 2022. The Awards, which take place every year, recognise the high quality professional advisory firms in the region that have worked on deals involving South East businesses.
Rix & Kay have been shortlisted for Corporate Deal of the Year in both the sub £10million category and the plus £10million category for their work on the equity investment in CloudAttribution by IHS Equity Investments and their work on the sale of Neilcott Group of Companies to an Employee Ownership Trust respectively.

“Recognition from our industry peers across the region is hugely rewarding. The fact that we have been shortlisted for two awards underlines the broad spectrum of expertise we have at Rix & Kay that allows us to advise on deals that are very different in their make-up, but equal in terms of the significant value they have added to the respective businesses we advised.

“Whilst on the other, we have advised Neilcott Group of Companies on its sale to an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT), one of the largest EOT transaction of the year in the region and in the construction sector. The deal has secured the future growth of the business and, in particular, has supported and developed its culture of staff engagement and commitment.”
The South East Dealmaker Awards 2022 have attracted a record number of entries from the region’s law firms, corporate finance firms, banks, ABL providers and private equity firms. Shortlists were selected by an independent panel of expert judges who scrutinised, assessed and evaluated each entry.
The winners will be unveiled at the gala dinner event, which this year is taking place at the Lingfield Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club on 7 April 2022.
