Chamber Virtual Networking Meeting

A positive of the pandemic is that we discovered online networking and our members tell us that they welcome this format so we will continue to offer a monthly opportunity for members to network online via the Zoom platform, with the next meeting being on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 9.00am.

We provide Uckfield businesses the opportunity to meet other like-minded people in a time efficient way. The meeting will last an hour but obviously, an advantage of such meetings is that is does allow people to ‘dip in and out’. That said, please aim to sign-in for an 9.00am start.

Each attendee will be given one minute to share about their business before we introduce our guest speaker, Matt Ellis, Wellbeing at Work Programme Co-ordinator, from East Sussex County Council. Matt will be talking about the Wellbeing at Work Awards scheme and other initiatives to support the whole area of wellbeing in the workplace.

It’s an opportunity to ask any business-related questions to the current situation. Using Zoom, we have a ‘Chat’ facility so questions can be typed, and we will endeavour to answer them or at least, point you in the right direction. Best practice also suggests that you should ‘mute’ your microphone when not speaking to avoid unnecessary background noise.

Our members will be emailed the meeting link approximately two days before the event; non-members are welcome, although please email the Chamber for the link a week beforehand, if you’d like to attend.

This meeting format is monthly, so the next meeting date will be on Wednesday 5 June 2024.
