Members’ virtual networking lunch meeting…
Tuesday 20 April 2021 / 1:00 pm - 2:00 pmFree
With limitations on meeting together face-to-face given the COVID19 crisis, we are bringing member contact and networking to you online via the Zoom platform, over lunch (you’ll have to make your own) on Tuesday 20 April 2021 at 1.00pm.
We continue with our established fortnightly online networking event; the meeting will last an hour but obviously, an advantage of such meetings is that is does allow people to ‘dip in and out’. That said, please aim to sign-in for a 1.00pm start. Each attendee will be given one minute to share about their business before we introduce our guest speakers, Will Duke-Oddy and Lizzy Rees, who will update us on the government’s Kickstart Scheme, designed to provide employment opportunities for 16-24 year olds. Our speakers are from Catch 22, a social business, a not for profit business with a social mission
It’s an opportunity to ask any business-related questions to the current situation. Using Zoom, we have a ‘Chat’ facility so questions can be typed and we will endeavour to answer them or at least, point you in the right direction. Best practice also suggests that you should ‘mute’ your microphone when not speaking to avoid unnecessary background noise.
We will repeat at fortnightly intervals so the next date, that can be pencilled in is Wednesday 5 May for a breakfast event at 8.00am.
Free to attend and no need to book a place; just turn up online on time. Members will be emailed the link and password to join the meeting. Non-member guests are welcome to attend by emailing a request to join to firstname.lastname@example.org
