Members’ virtual networking meeting…

With limitations on meeting together face-to-face given the COVID19 crisis, we are bringing member contact and networking to you online via the Zoom platform, over coffee (you’ll have to make your own) on Wednesday 4 November at 8.30am. Please note our new, earlier start time and change to the day of the week!
Now an established fortnightly online networking event, the meeting will last an hour but obviously, an advantage of such meetings is that is does allow people to ‘dip in and out’. That said, please aim to sign-in for a 8.30am start. Each attendee will be given one minute to share about their business before we introduce our guest speaker, Stephen Burkes, Director Sussex Skills Solutions of our member, East Sussex College Group. Stephen will update us on the various government schemes released under the ‘Plan for Jobs’ paper, including Kickstart and traineeships amongst others.
It’s an opportunity to ask any business-related questions to the current situation. Using Zoom, we have a ‘Chat’ facility so questions can be typed and we will endeavour to answer them or at least, point you in the right direction. Best practice also suggests that you should ‘mute’ your microphone when not speaking to avoid unnecessary background noise.
We will repeat at fortnightly intervals so the next date, that can be pencilled in is Wednesday 18 November.
Free to attend and no need to book a place; just turn up online on time. Members will be emailed the link and password to join the meeting. Non-member guests are welcome to attend by emailing a request to join to email@example.com
