Members’ virtual networking meeting…
Wednesday 10 March 2021 / 8:00 am - 9:00 amFree
With limitations on meeting together face-to-face given the COVID19 crisis, we are bringing member contact and networking to you online via the Zoom platform, over coffee (you’ll have to make your own) on Wednesday 10 March 2021 at 8.00am. Please note our earlier start time…
We continue with our established fortnightly online networking event; the meeting will last an hour but obviously, an advantage of such meetings is that is does allow people to ‘dip in and out’. That said, please aim to sign-in for a 8.00am start. Each attendee will be given one minute to share about their business before we introduce our guest speaker, Wealden Police Inspector, Kendal Wells. This will be a good opportunity for our members to meet Kendal, who is new to role, as well as hear about a new pilot scheme for Uckfield businesses to report low level crime.
It’s an opportunity to ask any business-related questions to the current situation. Using Zoom, we have a ‘Chat’ facility so questions can be typed and we will endeavour to answer them or at least, point you in the right direction. Best practice also suggests that you should ‘mute’ your microphone when not speaking to avoid unnecessary background noise.
We will next meet in this format 4 weeks later so the next date, that can be pencilled in is Wednesday 7 April 8.00am, although please also note the date of Wednesday 24 March 3.00pm for a joint Chamber Purely Networking event hosted by Sussex Chamber of Commerce.
Free to attend and no need to book a place; just turn up online on time. Members will be emailed the link and password to join the meeting. Non-member guests are welcome to attend by emailing a request to join to firstname.lastname@example.org
