For many of our members who attend events, we offer the opportunity of sharing an update on your business at each meeting. Be it online or in person, that ‘elevator pitch’ can be important as often it is when one makes a first impression!
Jill Wedge, who owns chamber member Village, based in Post Office Square, has for many years worked as a ‘Communications Consultant’ and has offered to run this ‘Perfect Pitch Workshop’. To be held in the Ashdown Room, at the Civic Centre between 9.00-11.00am on Tuesday 23 September, places are free of charge for Chamber members and £15 for non-members, who will be invoiced upon booking. Both hot drinks and pastries are included!
You’ll cover the basics of delivering your 60-second pitch with impact. In less than two hours you’ll get an insight into what to say and how to say it. And a chance to practice. Great for beginners to networking or those who want to refresh their skills and learn new tricks.
