The Uckfield Business Awards are open to all businesses in Uckfield and its immediate surrounds. Launched in 2012 to promote the achievements and diversity of the Uckfield business community, the awards are organised by the Chamber and are held biennially (every other year).
Each awards season culminates in a prestigious black-tie awards ceremony and dinner held at the East Sussex National Hotel, usually in the autumn. Our next event has been booked so save the date of Thursday 1st October 2026!

With 15 award categories, the awards evening celebrates Uckfield businesses of diverse types and sizes, the winners selected by our generous sponsors from the local business community. Dawson Hart Solicitors won the overall ‘Business of the Year’ last time out in 2024, and they join a prestigious list of previous winners including CJ Thorne & Co. and The Picture House.
Entries and nominations will open early in 2026, when more detail will become available. We will also be seeking our 2026 sponsors before launch. The sponsor role isn’t just about the finance (although this support is crucial), our sponsors are also category judges, deciding who wins their sponsored award.
