A positive of the pandemic is that we discovered online networking and our members tell us that they welcome this format so, welcome to another monthly opportunity for members to network online via the Zoom platform, with this meeting being on Wednesday 5 November 2025 starting at 9.00am.
We provide Uckfield businesses the opportunity to meet other like-minded people in a time efficient way. The meeting will last no longer than an hour but obviously, an advantage of such meetings is that is does allow people to ‘dip in and out’. That said, please aim to sign-in for an 9.00am start.
Each attendee will be given one minute to share about their business before we introduce a guest speaker and this month, we welcome Melanie Butcher, from ESCC’s Transform Service, together with an update on the Local Skills Improvement Plan.
It’s an opportunity to ask any business-related questions to the current situation. Using Zoom, we have a ‘Chat’ facility so questions can be typed, and we will endeavour to answer them or at least, point you in the right direction. Best practice also suggests that you should ‘mute’ your microphone when not speaking to avoid unnecessary background noise.
Our members will be emailed the meeting link approximately two days before the event; non-members are welcome, although please email the Chamber for the link a week beforehand, if you’d like to attend.
This meeting format is usually monthly although we will resume again online early in 2026..
