Late Spring Members’ meeting

Our bi-monthly members’ meetings are the flagship meeting within our calendar (for members only) and no less so than when we have an opportunity of visiting the wonderfully rural, Bluebell Vineyard. We return to this venue less than a year since our previous visit as our usual slot for this venue has historically, been July.

Switching things up a bit in 2025, our May members’ meeting will be held in the Bluebell’s Tasting Room adjacent to the Marquee that has housed meetings previously. As always at this venue, you will be welcomed with a glass of Bluebell bubbly or a soft drink alternative on arrival with half an hour of open networking until 6.30pm. Our speaker for this meeting will be Sam Ryan, Disability Employment Advisor for DWP. Sam will present on how employers can support long-term unemployed who may declare health conditions. We will also be pleased to tell you about a special event for later in the year, when we will provide input and support for local businesses on how to be ‘Disability Confident’.

The formal part of our evening is usually done within 45-50 minutes before we enjoy food which will be provided, once again, by chamber member, The Wealden Kitchen, who’ll prepare a hearty Ploughman’s to suit all tastes for what, we hope, will be a fine evening.
