Choice Medics is a First aid and medical training company set up and run by current and practicing NHS Paramedics with a passion for emergency care and education. The company has been developed by Richard Fletcher and Neil Bustin, both of whom work within the NHS as specialist Paramedics. Their aim is to change the tick box exercise of first aid training to an event that staff actively seek out and enjoy taking part in.
We deliver the usual Adult First Aid / Paediatric first aid and Manual handling courses but we can also offer more advanced and specialist training to doctors, dentists and other health care professionals due to our Paramedic background.
Over many years as frontline Paramedics, we have been to many incidents and have many stories to tell. These are used to support our training by aiding realism, interest to the subjects as well as true signs and symptoms a patient may present with. Our knowledge in pre-hospital care also supports the workplace, as we can adjust our delivery of training to focus on greater risk within the workplace environment.
We aim to include all learning styles with the aid of resources to support learning along with teaching methods. We have a number of tools which allow the learner’s hands on education such as our electronic resuscitation races which always bring out peoples competitive side generating a lot of fun and very valuable learning.
We are excited to now have our own premises based in Hailsham which allows us more opportunity to help the individual learner in gaining qualification.
We also supply First Aid, medical, janitorial and beauty supplies. We aim to provide quality products at the best prices.
