The thought of getting dressed for networking on a ferociously hot Thursday morning might have been enough to put some people off. Fortunately, the Uckfield Chamber of Commerce networking breakfast at Kings Church came with one very welcome bonus – air conditioning.
When people attend an Awards night, few appreciate that the process of selecting the finalists and ultimately, the winners on the night, started some 7-8 months previously. We are entering the ‘business end’ of the Awards season for 2026, as entries across our 15 categories closed on 12 June.
On a gloriously warm evening, around 50 guests gathered at the stunning Bluebell Vineyard in Furners Green for the Uckfield Chamber of Commerce members meeting.
What better way to celebrate St George’s Day than by bringing together local businesses for good conversation, fresh connections, and a hearty breakfast.
The Uckfield Chamber AGM, held on 26 March 2026, was a chance to reflect on a year of impressive growth, strong community spirit, and exciting plans for the future.
The Uckfield Business Awards 2026 are now ‘live’ for both entries and nominations. We have 15 award categories in all, a dozen of which are for businesses to enter, and three are ‘individual’ awards.
Despite it being Friday the 13th, forty businesses from across Uckfield and the surrounding area came together at The Highlands Inn for a morning of networking, conversation, and a delicious breakfast.
We kicked off our 2026 programme of events in style, with our bi-monthly members’ meeting, held at the Civic Centre. The Luxford Restaurant was buzzing with plenty of familiar faces and lots of new ones too. Guests were welcomed with canapés and the chance to mingle, catch up and make new connections before the formal part of the evening began.
At our final event of the year, we welcomed businesses from Uckfield and the surrounding area to our Christmas Jumper Networking Breakfast at the Luxford Restaurant in the Civic Centre.
