With so many priorities at this challenging time, how do you keep your business premises safe during the Covid-19 pandemic?

With the virus spreading faster than ever, we all have a duty of care towards our staff and customers.

UV-C light is proven to inactivate up to 99.9% of microorganisms and pathogens, including SARS-Cov-2.  It has been used to disinfect operating theatres for over 70 years. It is a common method of conducting specialised disinfection mainly in medical facilities and food processing plants.

How does it work?

High-energy particles of UV-C rays penetrates the cell membrane of the pathogen whether it is on surfaces or in the air.  Because of the absorption of particles by DNA / RNA cell proteins, their structure is permanently damaged.  This process is irreversible, which means that from that moment onward, the pathogen cannot survive or reproduce.

The process is responsible for the elimination and neutralisation of 99.99% of microorganisms, including pathogenic pathogens.

UV-C light is part of ultraviolet radiation with a wavelength of 200 to 280nm (specified in PN-90 / E-01005).

How can we help?

At LED-UK Lighting, our new UVC Air disinfection mobile unit will work quietly in the background, purifying the air and removing all germs, pathogens, and viruses.  During a break or after a meeting, the unit can run at full power for rapid air renewal.

It is ideal for medium size spaces, such as receptions, waiting rooms, surgeries, and offices. It will keep everyone safe in a fast, effective, and efficient way.
