The Bedwell Podiatry clinic, in Uckfield, can offer day and evening appointments, full disabled access with off road parking and will deal with all aspects of foot care.
Karen is a Chiropodist / Podiatrist with 25 years’ experience in Independent Health care. Following the completion of her 1st class honours degree from University of Brighton, she has also completed a 2 year post graduate diploma in diabetes with BMJ through University of Leicester and continues to update her knowledge through relevant CPD and regular courses through BMJ and aims for completion of an MSc with a special interest in diabetes. She has experience in full gait analysis and can provided OTC and bespoke orthosis for biomechanical improvement and give treatment and advise on all aspects of foot care.
Jamie has recently qualified from the University of Brighton with a BSc degree in Podiatry and is certified in local anaesthetic and prescription only medicines allowing him to safely carry out partial and full nail removals and supply a range of antibiotics to treat infections. Jamie will build on the knowledge gained from his degree to treat a variety of patients including those suffering with sports injuries, trauma or injuries caused by individual biomechanics, type one and two diabetes, nail infections or cosmetic complaints as well as general foot health care.
Karen is available for booked appointments Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8.30am -5.30pm and alternate Monday evenings 4-9pm. Jamie is available for booked appointments on alternative Saturdays from 9.30am-4.30pm.
