There’s no better way to start the day than with a hearty cooked breakfast, great company, and a dose of inspiration. And that’s exactly what our latest Chamber breakfast delivered.

Very fitting too, as the theme for the event was wellbeing at work. Our guest speaker, Stewart Marquis from East Sussex County Council’s Wellbeing at Work programme, shared how the initiative helps organisations create healthier, happier workplaces.

Coffee and conversation

The morning started with guests being welcomed with tea, coffee and fruit juice, before tucking into a delicious breakfast and a chance to network at the beautiful Trading Boundaries at Sheffield Park.

Known for its stunning interior and ornate elephant décor, Trading Boundaries is a new venue for us, and it provided the perfect backdrop for a lively morning of coffee and conversation.

Each attendee had the opportunity to introduce themselves and give a quick 40-second update on what’s happening in their business, which always proves a lively and engaging part of the morning.

We were also joined by local MP Mims Davies, who continues to show her support for the Uckfield business community.

And, in true Chamber spirit, the morning ended with a cheerful rendition of Happy Birthday to Julie from Ashdown AV, who celebrated her special day with us.

Join us for our next breakfast

Our popular breakfast networking events are a firm fixture in the Chamber calendar, taking place every other month at a range of fantastic venues across Uckfield. Open to both members and non-member businesses, they’re a great opportunity to make new connections, catch up with familiar faces and start the day with fresh ideas and inspiration.

Our next breakfast networking event will take place on 17 December at the Civic Centre. We look forward to seeing you there in your favourite Christmas jumper!
