Undoubtedly, in these unprecedented times, with change happening so rapidly, it’s hard to believe that the severe impact on local business because of Coronavirus has only been a little over a week.
It’s gone from advice on ‘washing your hands’ to the Government offering £330 Billion to support the commercial infrastructure of the UK and daily PM briefings from Downing Street, in just seven days!
And in that time, the briefings available to support businesses here in the UK are plentiful. Rather than reinvent any wheels, we are simply sharing various links with you, that we hope will prove helpful.
The South East Business Hub provides guidance for businesses and employers plus information on a Business interruption loan scheme.
Our friends at Sussex Chamber of Commerce, have a Coronavirus support page and a link through too, to the British Chambers of Commerce, who host complete up-to-date advice for UK businesses.
Finally, our colleagues at the South East Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) will provide regular updates and here, at Uckfield Chamber, we’ll be pleased to share links to their newsletters.
