The Chailey Heritage Foundation annual Focus 10k was due to take place at Borde Hill Garden on the 31st May 2020, and is usually a highlight in their event calendar. Unfortunately, in light of the current government guidance, the event will not be taking place at Borde Hill this year, but you can still get involved and show your support.
Your Virtual Challenge. Your Funds Matched.
Join us virtually on Sunday 31st May for a running challenge of 5k, 10k, or a Mini Mile for any younger runners (accompanied by a responsible adult of course).
Or get creative and take on your own Focus10Stay challenge instead, where you can choose any active challenge connected to the number ten. You could hula hoop for ten minutes, hop around the garden ten times, or do ten consecutive challenges. Feel free to let your imagination run wild!
Any funds you raise will be generously matched* pound for pound by our sponsors, Focus Group. Just set up your Just Giving page and start fundraising.
How your support could help young people at Chailey Heritage:
– £5 could pay for a sensory toy, such as a mini spinner or textured ball, to help young people with visual or hearing impairments to interact with the world around them.
– £35 could enable us to produce an hour of exercise videos for people with disabilities who are currently unable to use our adapted gym, so that they can stay active at home.
– £70 could fund a wheelchair football, giving young people the chance to participate in after-school wheelchair football sessions.
CHF would love to see videos and photos of your challenge, so please share them on social media, and don’t forget to tag Chailey Heritage Foundation.

*Matched Funding Terms and Conditions

Any funds raised before or after that date may not be matched. The matched funding pot total is £10,000. Once this has been reached additional funds raised will not be matched. If you choose to donate your entry fees, they will also be matched. You do not have to have registered for the Focus 10k for your funds to be matched. Gift aid is not eligible for matching.
