Did you know that if you’re an East Sussex employer you can sign up for the new Wellbeing at Work accreditation programme? The accreditation programme will support you to improve wellbeing in your workplace by providing a free framework to follow. And you will be rewarded for your commitment by reaching award status and having access to free training.

There are awards available for all types of organisations – with an entry level commitment award for employers addressing wellbeing for the first time, and awards specifically for small employers. And the Wellbeing at Work team is on call to help and guide you every step of the way. A “stress free process which was easy to follow”, as described by an awarded employer.

As organisations will have different goals and resources, there is no set time scale for you to complete any award. It can be as slowly or speedy as you wish, and the whole process is managed digitally through an online portal.

41% of employees experienced poor mental health caused by work in recent years, and 46% of employers still lack a formal approach to wellbeing. Taking an active role in improving and promoting employee wellbeing through the programme could help you:

  • Be recognised for your efforts
  • Save between £130 and £5,020 per employee
  • Retain talented employees
  • Increase productivity
  • Recruit new talent

We already have a team of accredited employers contributing to creating healthier workplaces in East Sussex. Holding a Wellbeing at Work Award will set your organisation apart from competitors as an employer and business of choice, whilst also enjoying the benefits of increased employee wellbeing and productivity.

Do you want to improve your staff wellbeing but don’t know where to start? Have you been implementing some good wellbeing initiatives but want more guidance and support? Have you already achieved a lot in terms of wellbeing and want to be recognised for your efforts? If you answered yes to any of these questions, this programme is for you.
