Who is that person that had most influence on your life as a youngster? If we think back hard enough, we could all probably point to our favourite school teacher! But now, Uckfield Chamber via the Ashdown Radio Community Awards are giving local young people the opportunity to nominate their favourite teacher as we seek to find ‘Teacher of the Year’ for 2025.
The nomination process is open now although must close at midnight on Friday 27 June 2025. Who inspires pupils through their enthusiasm and commitment and is always willing to go the extra mile? We want to hear from you.
We will sift through the nominations and look to speak with a short-list of finalists who will find out at the glittering Awards evening, at the East Sussex National Hotel, on Friday 26 September, who will be named and recognised as ‘Teacher of the Year’.
