Who is that person that had most influence on your life as a youngster? If we think back hard enough, we could all probably point to our favourite school teacher! But now, Uckfield Chamber via the Ashdown Radio Community Awards are giving local young people the opportunity to nominate their favourite teacher as we seek to find ‘Teacher of the Year’ for 2025.
The nomination process has now closed and we have had an excellent response.
We will sift through the nominations and look to identify the short-list of finalists who will find out at the glittering Awards evening, at the East Sussex National Hotel, on Friday 26 September, who will be named and recognised as ‘Teacher of the Year’.
