Hola! I’m Shirley Brooks, the founder of Save Bills with Shirley Brooks, a personal assistant service created to bring clarity, organisation, and peace of mind into people’s lives.

Why the name Save Bills? Because in almost everything I do, I help people save time, save stress, and yes… save money too!

After working a few years at Metro Bank, I decided to follow my dream of becoming self-employed and doing what I truly love: helping people succeed. Today, I support clients across Sussex and beyond with the tasks that take up time, create stress, or simply feel overwhelming. From form-filling and booking appointments to organising events, planning special occasions, managing life admin, and finding creative solutions to everyday challenges—I’m here to make life easier.

Whether you need one hour, one day, or ongoing support, my goal is always the same: make your life easier, more organised, and more enjoyable.

I’m especially proud to support the Latin American community in Brighton and the surrounding areas. As a native Spanish speaker from Havana, Cuba, I understand the challenges that come with language barriers, and I’m passionate about helping people feel confident, understood, and supported.

Based in Newhaven, the town I’ve called home for 19 years. I work in person, over the phone, or on Zoom. I absolutely love meeting new people through networking and community events, and I bring a fun, positive, energetic approach to everything I do… because life admin doesn’t have to be boring! And if travel is easier for you, I’m happy to come to you—after all, when you fly 10 hours to visit family, nothing feels too far.
