I am on a mission to break the grief taboo.
When people hear the word grief, they often think only of bereavement. While grief is experienced when someone we love dies, it can also arise through the loss of a pet, redundancy, retirement, career changes, health challenges, relationship breakdowns, caring responsibilities or changes in our sense of identity.
Grief is a natural response to loss and significant change, particularly when circumstances feel beyond our control.
Coaching
I offer one-to-one coaching for people navigating grief, loss and life transitions. My approach helps you honour your past while building confidence for the future.
Sessions can take place in person, online or outdoors, providing a supportive and relaxed environment where you can explore your thoughts and emotions, build resilience and identify meaningful steps forward.
Every coaching journey is unique. Together, we work at a pace that feels right for you, focusing on your goals, needs and circumstances.
For organisations, coaching can be incorporated into employee wellbeing and benefits programmes, offering timely support when employees are experiencing loss, change or significant life challenges.
Coaching is a forward focused process. It helps you understand where you are now, where you would like to be and how you can move forward in a way that aligns with your values and circumstances. Along the way, you will develop your own toolkit of strategies and resources that can support you through future transitions and losses.
Workshops
I deliver workshops for organisations that increase awareness and understanding of grief in the workplace.
These sessions explore what grief is and is not, common responses to loss, practical coping strategies and ways to support colleagues with confidence and compassion.
Each workshop is tailored to the organisation’s culture, values and objectives. Sessions are delivered in a supportive and confidential environment that encourages open conversation, shared learning and greater confidence when navigating sensitive situations.
These workshops are particularly valuable for HR professionals, managers and team leaders who play an important role in supporting employees and maintaining healthy workplace cultures.
Guest Speaking
As part of my mission to break the grief taboo, I speak at businesses, conferences, schools, charities, clubs and community organisations.
My talks raise awareness of grief, encourage meaningful conversations and help people better understand how loss can affect individuals, families, workplaces and communities.
Why Work With Me?
My work is shaped by both professional training and lived experience. By combining evidence based coaching approaches with genuine understanding, I create a compassionate, trustworthy and supportive space for individuals and organisations.
I believe grief should not be something we suffer in silence. With the right support, people can navigate loss, adapt to change and move forward with greater confidence, self-awareness and hope.
