We are proud to bring the Uckfield Business Awards to our town in alternate years, so building on from our Awards in 2024, when law firm Dawson Hart were crowned business of the year, we go again on Thursday 1 October 2026.
Thank you, once again, to CJ Thorne & Co. who will be our headline sponsors for 2026. Securing sponsorship of each of our 15 categories is our focus at the present time and we’re grateful to those who have committed to do so this time around. That said, we do still have six categories to cover and we are keen to hear from any business who would like to support the awards next year by becoming one of our category sponsors.
So, let us share some detail of sponsorship and what you can expect. Our sponsors are very much part of our team, and we will supply each sponsor with all the entries for their category, or we can short-list for you, if preferred. But what isn’t negotiable is the responsibility of making the decision of who will win and be highly commended within the category. We are here to help of course, but we’ll encourage all sponsors to meet with their short-listed entrants in order to have as much information as possible to make the correct decision.
The cost of sponsorship is £895, and this entitles the sponsor to four complimentary event tickets for the Awards, usually priced at £55 per head. Some of our sponsors then decide to purchase six more tickets to make up a round table of 10. Hosting a table is a great way to reward staff or entertain clients as we celebrate the best of business in Uckfield!
We are also pleased to invite our sponsors to a special evening in March, when we’ll enjoy some light refreshments and formally launch the Awards with announcement of the key dates, including the opening dates and closing dates for both nominations and entries. At this event, we will hear from our marketing partners, GetCrisp and Youbiquity and we’ll be clear about sponsorship responsibilities.
