We are proud to bring the Uckfield Business Awards to our town in alternate years, so building on from our Awards in 2024, when law firm Dawson Hart were crowned business of the year, we go again on Thursday 1 October 2026.

Thank you, once again, to CJ Thorne & Co. who will be our headline sponsor for 2026. And we are most grateful to each of our 15 category sponsors too, some of whom are returning having sponsored previously and others for the very first time.

Our Awards website has been fully updated with all sponsor details with links to their own headline information and websites. We are most grateful to our marketing partner for 2026, GetCrisp for the work to date.

Most importantly, the Uckfield Business Awards 2026 are now ‘open’ for both entries and nominations. We have 15 award categories in all, a dozen of which are for businesses to enter, and three are ‘individual’ awards. For these individual awards, we will take the ‘nomination’ as the entry form although will, of course, check with individuals that they’re happy for their name to go forward.

Please do take some time to review the awards website Homepage – Uckfield Business Awards 2026 and enter your business into the most appropriate category or two for you! And who in your business or is known to you, would be a worthy recipient of an individual award. Don’t be shy in nominating!

But it’s not only the business population that can be involved. We would love the Uckfield public to nominate their favourite business or two! By nominating a business for an award you’d be bringing our attention to that business and we, in turn, will encourage them to enter. Our awards are not a popularity contest so please only nominate a business the once!

So while both entries and nominations opened on Monday 16 March, here are the important closing dates although please don’t leave it until the last minute… Nominations for businesses will close on Friday 15 May and both entries and individual nominations will close two weeks later on Friday 29 May.

Anyone will be welcome to attend the Awards Gala Dinner on Thursday 1 October at East Sussex National and we very much hope that all our finalists, in due course, will want to be present. Tickets at £55 per head will go on sale from Monday 3 August. Between the closure of award entries and opening of ticket sales, our generous sponsors will be working hard to assess the entrants within their categories and make those all-important decisions.

Good luck to everyone who enters and remember, you need to be ‘in it to win it’!
