ARx is a two decade old, family run, recruitment business, specialising in the provision of highly technical STEM candidates to world changing organisations across the UK and Internationally. Founded in 2006, our company has helped hundreds of companies to find great hires, that go on to act as catalysts for their own growth.
The process is simple, and unlike many agencies in this space, we manage the recruitment process end to end. This includes professional marketing, market mapping, benchmarking, interview scheduling and all other parts of the hiring lifecycle to ensure that any placement made through ARx is the right one.
Our goal is to provide companies with a true talent partner that is headache free, and simple to work with.
What We Do
We offer recruitment / head-hunting services to technical businesses primarily in and around the Life Science industry (Pharmaceuticals, Clinical Research etc) and the Engineering field. This includes both passive recruitment (Recruitment Marketing, Job Posts, Social Media utilisation) and active Head-hunting where we find key individuals, that are perhaps not on the market, and entice them to join our clients by facilitating detailed conversations and negotiations.
We provide our clients with:
- Detailed Market Mapping Information (Which competitors are looking for similar, which geographies yield the highest level of candidates, what the market looks like for active job seekers in this field etc)
- Detailed Benchmarking (What this individual would be paid at a competitor, what they naturally are looking for and what level your hire should be at)
- CV search and selection (The bit that most recruitment firms offer)
- Active Headhunting and Pipeline building (The proactive part of what a recruitment firm should be offering)
- Continued consultation to help you build teams, design future hires, and strategise for the good times and the bad
- Outplacement (In economic downturns, we support clients who are having to lose staff, to help their valued team members find new career opportunities, subsidised by their previous employer)
These services are all included as standard, and we don’t have confusing packages, up front payments or complex terms of business. Clear communication and honest recruitment are the cornerstones of what we do.

Supporting local businesses is what ARx is all about, and Uckfield is perfectly nestled between Kent and Sussex, and is a key location for our business, as well as many others. We want to play an active part in contributing to businesses in Uckfield and keep this cradle of enterprise thriving and growing.
